Submission Info

Serendib Press is planning to do only one to two books a year for our first few years. We're most interested in seeing quirky manuscripts with good potential for illustration, whether geared towards children or adults. Light and charming is good, dark and scary is good; unusual is very good.

We're particularly fond of work with a speculative element, though that certainly isn't required. And we're always excited to see material that explores under-represented ethnicities and cultures. If you have a book project that seems like it would be a good fit, do feel free to send us a one-page query letter detailing the project; include a one-paragraph bio of the author. Please use the subject line: SERENDIB PRESS SUB: [book title / author name] .

Please do be aware that we are a very small press, just starting out -- profits, if any, are likely to be minimal for some time; advances, likewise.
